Now we’re looking for a Mid-Market Account Executive to join our high-performing sales team. In this role, you’ll manage a blended portfolio of ~200 accounts, retaining and expanding existing customers while hunting for new growth opportunities in one of our key verticals.
You’ll play a critical role in shaping how customers across sectors like Civil Engineering, Utilities, Telecommunications, Asset Management and Government use Nearmap to solve complex problems and unlock real business value.
What you’ll be doing:
Own a book of customers and prospects, developing and executing territory and account plans to drive acquisition, growth, and retention.
Focus on landing new logos through smart, self-directed prospecting and pipeline generation.
Use value-based selling to lead conversations that solve real business problems, mapping customer pain points to Nearmap solutions and building clear, ROI-led business cases.
Partner closely with Customer Success Managers to increase product adoption, drive expansion, and deliver a best-in-class customer experience.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Solutions Engineering, BDRs and more to unlock strategic opportunities.
Confidently navigate complex procurement processes and C-level conversations to close deals and deliver results.

What will set you apart:
5+ years of B2B SaaS sales experience in Business Development or Account Executive roles, with a strong record of exceeding quota and driving new revenue.
Familiarity with modern sales frameworks like MEDDIC, SPIN, Sandler or Challenger, you know how to run strategic discovery and turn insight into action.
A history of managing ~200 accounts across existing clients and new prospects with a structured, data-driven approach.
Deep vertical expertise in one of Nearmap’s priority sectors (Public Sector/Government, Civil Engineering, Utilities, Telecommunications, Asset Management), and hands-on exposure to tools like AutoDesk, Bentley, or ESRI is a big plus.
Strong commercial acumen, you’re fluent in ROI, comfortable with Excel-based business cases, and can tailor value propositions to diverse stakeholders.
A strong understanding of subscription-based business models and how to drive product adoption and retention over time.
Comfortable working cross-functionally, you bring people together to close complex deals and deliver an exceptional customer experience.
You know your way around Salesforce (SFDC) and believe in the power of accurate forecasting and clean pipeline hygiene.
