Account Executive - Maritime - MEA (Africa)
TLDR
Kpler’s Sales team seeks a driven Account Executive to spearhead new account acquisition across Africa, delivering insights in commodities and maritime markets.
Manage a territory, ensuring timely and thorough responses to client requests while meeting or exceeding annual sales growth targets.
Uncover opportunities for upsell and cross-sells within these accounts and drive them to close
Serve as a commercial partner for the business, supporting budgeting, multi-year planning, demand planning, reporting, and key metrics.
Gather insights on products and competitors directly from clients to inform strategy.
Keep the CRM up-to-date with accurate notes and updates, collaborating with the sales team to maintain achievable forecasts.
Support cross-functional teams and share expertise to drive organizational success.
Represent Kpler externally with professionalism and credibility.
Contribute to corporate projects and initiatives that impact the company as a whole.
Negotiate contracts and terms to secure profitable agreements while ensuring compliance with company policies.
Essential:
Experience in Account Executive/Sales roles
Experience working for technology/data vendors
3 years experience in a commercial role
Desirable:
Experience in the maritime space
Experience in the commodities space
Experience using sales tools such as Salesforce, Zoominfo, Outreach, Sales Navigator
