As a member of our LinkedIn Talent Solutions Sales Team, you will be a part of an experienced group of sales professionals who are bringing LinkedIn’s Talent & Learning products to market. In this new business sales role, you will have responsibility driving new business and learning pilots across the Asia territory. You will identify, qualify, and capture new sales opportunities for existing accounts. You will have a solid understanding of the industry, collaborate internally, be a strategic advisor to your clients, and consistently deliver against your sales targets. This is a highly collaborative role requiring a passion for building strong and lasting relationships which allow our largest customers to be, and feel, successful with LinkedIn products and solutions.  

Responsibilities:   

  • Maintain prospecting activity and establish executive-level relationships outside of HR, across different business units and technology departments 
  • Demonstrate sales operational excellence through CRM discipline, attention to detail, documented sales activities, clear and accurate forecasts, and pipeline generation.    
  • Partner with Account Director to drive demand for new product solutions within accounts and/or meaningfully upsell existing accounts across Asia 
  • Practice active listening & thoughtful discovery to uncover buying motivators, decision criteria, investment propensity, and buyer circles.
  • Gain commitment & buy-in by achieving shared vision, proactively laying out ROI/value prop, and being a strategic partner and expert on LinkedIn Learning and LinkedIn Career Hub to drive solutions to customer problems. 
  • Manage learning pilots and grow new business opportunities  
  • Serve as a strategic partner act as brand evangelist & coordinate customer engagement events across the region to promote LinkedIn Learning and Talent Solutions 
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional sales partners   

Basic Qualifications: 

  • 5+ years of experience in leading, running, negotiating, and closing the sale in complex, large enterprise accounts. 
  • 5+ years of experience in complex Consultative Selling (multiple solutions) in the SaaS industry. 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Demonstrated experience working with CTOs, CIOs, digital transformation departments 
  • Consulting experience in Human Capital Management solutions & learning tech industry 
  • Demonstrable understanding of different Learning Management Systems (LMS) / Learning Experience Platforms (LXP).  
  • Excellent communication and public speaking skills  
  • Knowledge of software contract terms and conditions with the ability to create fair transactions  and RFP experience
  • Strong negotiation and accurate forecasting skills   
  • Demonstrated ability to find, manage and close high-level business in an evangelist sales environment   
  • Ability to assess business opportunities and use data to inform decision making and persuade others   
  • Ability to manage a large number of prospect situations simultaneously while positioning company products against direct and indirect competitors   
  • Fluency in Mandarin is a plus
