Position Requirements

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in the health sciences, marketing, or communications field

Experience:

• 1-2 years of work experience in healthcare, marketing or communications field
• Pharmaceutical or agency internship a plus
• Demonstrated leadership experience/potential

Position Responsibilities

Demonstrates behavior expected of a professional member of the organization, including but not limited to: 

• Client management

• Supports account team, specifically SAE/Account Supervisor (AS)
• Schedules and prepares materials for client meetings
• Documents client contacts (via e-mail), requests (change orders), and meetings (conference reports) concisely and accurately
• Researches and recommends (with AS/Assoc. Account Director [AAD]/Account Director [AD] approval) journals and conferences
• Submits abstracts/manuscripts and follows up on acceptance
• Maintains publication details in publication management portals or other systems in a compliant manner as required by clients
• Performs research as directed by SAE/AS/AAD/AD

• Project management 

• Opens and closes jobs
• Maintains status report, including timelines
• Develops client/product meeting minutes and contact reports
• Maintains electronic and hard-copy job folders based on Handles mail, delivery, and pickup tasks as necessary for account team established procedures

• Performs other tasks as delegated by account team

• New business

• Assists with research as directed by AS/AAD/AD
• Prepares materials for presentations

 Talent and Knack

The candidate should possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities:

• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Experience with publication management software (eg, Datavision) a plus
• Excellent research/data entry skills
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Superior oral and written communications skills
• Ability to manage numerous projects, requests, and responsibilities
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and follow-through
