The Account Executive plays a critical role in executing the sales strategy to drive profitable, sustainable revenue growth. This role is designed for a disciplined, metrics-driven sales professional who thrives in both new business acquisition and strategic account expansion.
Under the direction of the Sales Manager, the Account Executive is responsible for developing new client relationships, expanding share of wallet within existing accounts, and executing a structured, repeatable sales process aligned with margin, pricing, and customer experience standards. This role works closely with sales leadership, operations, and vendor partners to deliver multi-category solutions and long-term value to clients.
Key Responsibilities
Meet or exceed assigned revenue and margin targets through new business development, account farming, and cross-category expansion.
Prospect strategically within assigned verticals and target accounts.
Conduct procurement and spend discovery to identify consolidation and growth opportunities.
Develop and execute account consolidation strategies across multiple product and service categories.
Position us as a multi-category, solutions-based partner at the procurement and decision-maker level.
Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships while representing us professionally in the marketplace.
Collaborate with internal operations, vendors, and leadership to ensure seamless execution and high client satisfaction.
Maintain consistent CRM discipline, forecasting accuracy, and pipeline management.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or equivalent professional experience preferred.
Five or more years of successful B2B sales experience with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue and margin goals.
Experience selling B2B products or services such as commercial print, promotional products, decorated apparel, office or facility supplies, furniture, or similar solutions strongly preferred.
Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Highly organized, metrics-driven, and process-oriented mindset.
Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite required.
Experience with HubSpot and NetSuite is a plus.
