The Role

This is a true 360 commercial role for someone who enjoys both closing new business and building lasting customer relationships.

You’ll sell Huggg to SME and mid-market businesses, primarily into HR teams, as well as Marketing, Sales and Customer Success teams. You’ll own your customers commercially from first conversation through renewal and expansion, working closely with Marketing and the rest of the business to maximise revenue and deliver long-term value.

You’ll manage a mix of inbound and outbound opportunities, while also growing a portfolio of existing customers through renewals, upsell and cross-sell.

We’re looking for revenue-hungry individuals who will spot opportunities others might miss, will smash through walls to win, doesn’t mind picking up the phone, will meet larger clients in person, and most importantly… who our customers will rave about. 

What you’ll be responsible for

New business

  • Owning the full sales cycle: outreach (with support from Marketing with automations and engagement flagging), discovery, demo, proposal, negotiation and close
  • Managing a mix of inbound MQLs/PQLs and self-generated outbound pipeline
  • Running structured discovery to uncover customer pains, use cases and buying drivers
  • Qualifying leads to ensure your time is spent only on valuable customers who are ready to buy
  • Delivering tailored product demos that clearly link Huggg to customer outcomes
  • Forecasting accurately and keeping HubSpot fully up to date

Account ownership & growth

  • Owning a portfolio of customers post-sale, with responsibility for renewals and expansion
  • Onboarding and activating new customers, helping them drive adoption through assisting with setup, rollout and training.
  • Staying close to customers after go-live, monitoring adoption rates and usage, to ensure a strong first value moment
  • Seeking out upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts
  • Monitoring usage rates to identify and act upon accounts at risk 
  • Renewing customers who have annual contracts with us

Requirements

What we’re looking for

Must-haves

  • 2–5 years’ experience closing B2B SaaS deals
  • A proven track record of hitting or exceeding quota
  • Experience owning deals end-to-end, not just demos
  • Strong discovery, qualification and negotiation skills
  • Comfortable generating pipeline as well as closing it
  • Commercially minded, organised, and honest in forecasting
  • Tech minder, quick to pick up software and proficient with AI

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in HR tech, rewards, gifting, benefits or adjacent SaaS
  • Excperience working for a usage based product
  • Experience owning renewals and growing existing accounts
  • HubSpot experience

  • Base salary: £45,000 – £60,000 (depending on experience)
    OTE: £85,000 – £100,000 (uncapped)
