The Monks Account Director serves as a cornerstone of successful project execution. Their profound understanding of project dynamics and client requirements allows them to oversee project work streams across diverse clients and teams. Their expertise in planning and communication ensures seamless project delivery. In partnership with account leadership, operations, and production teams, they lead the day-to-day client experience across a variety of projects and programs. They are passionate about the automotive industry, and understand end to end brand experience. 

 

The Day-to-Day

  • Responsible for the input, output and productivity of small to large teams of makers through a multi-departmental team (ie creative, ops, etc)
  • Provide clients with solutions and recommendations. Collect client feedback and ensure it is reflected in revisions
  • Communicates project requirements to project managers, producers, strategy and creative, in order to meet client expectations
  • Consistently provide clients with clear expectations for review turnarounds and workstream needs and flag any workstream schedule implications
  • Ensure seamless execution and delivery to drive success across all fronts
  • Knows the full lifecycle of digital workstream inside and out
  • Consistently meet the standards set for quality, productivity and timeliness



What you bring:

  • 6-8 years of experience in coordinating projects and/or teams in digital production or agencies
  • Digital production experience required
  • Firm grasp of traditional and digital media required
  • Demonstrated ability to execute large-scale projects and programs, working with internal and external partners
  • Must be a self-starter who can operate in a constantly evolving team environment
  • Seasoned at managing multiple complex projects simultaneously 
  • A knack for unraveling complex problems and processes in an easy to understand way
  • High energy and go getter attitude; comfortable working autonomously
  • Excellent problem solving and analysis skills with presentation development skills
  • Experience managing budgets and a high level of business acumen
  • Skilled communicator with strong written and verbal communication skills in English, including both professional and casual style of communication
  • Experience with and comfortable working within project management tools (WorkFront, JIRA, Monday.com, Asana, etc.) 
  • General knowledge of OEM offer and incentive programs
  • Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
  • Prior management experience
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud preferred 
  • Experience with automotive and media research tools
  • Fluent in both Spanish and English

Monks has provided a compensation range that represents its good faith estimate of what Monks may pay for the position at the time of posting. Monks may ultimately pay more or less than the posted compensation range.
