AC Technician/ Electrician

As an AC Technician / Electrician, you will play a vital role in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment across residential, commercial, and industrial settings. You will work independently or as part of a team, interpreting blueprints and schematics to ensure accurate and safe electrical work. This role involves hands-on problem solving, troubleshooting, and guiding less experienced technicians, all while maintaining high standards of safety and compliance. With opportunities for travel and diverse projects, you will directly contribute to the reliability and performance of critical electrical infrastructure.

Accountabilities:

·        Install, repair, and service electrical systems and equipment according to safety standards and project specifications.

·        Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to complete assignments accurately.

·        Troubleshoot electrical issues, source or fabricate replacement components, and implement solutions efficiently.

·        Guide, mentor, and oversee other electricians as needed to ensure quality and safety.

·        Maintain project records, prepare reports, and support documentation for ongoing operations and audits.

·        Respond to emergency service requests promptly and effectively.

Requirements

·        High School Diploma or GED; further technical certifications are a plus.

·        Minimum of 6 years of experience in commercial electrical work; telecommunications experience is advantageous.

·        Strong knowledge of electrical codes (NEC) and safety standards.

·        Ability to lift 75 lbs, push/pull up to 60 lbs of cabling, and work on ladders or elevated platforms for extended periods.

·        Comfortable with up to 100% travel for project assignments.

·        Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

·        Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
