This role is ideal for a recruiter who has experience working in startups and understands how to recruit for hands-on, technical roles in manufacturing and industrial environments. You will work closely with hiring managers to find driven, mission-aligned candidates who want to build real hardware and scale real operations.    This pay range reflects the expected compensation for this role and may vary based on experience and qualifications.   Salary Range: $80,000-$120,000 Key Responsibilities
  • Own full-cycle recruiting for technical and manufacturing roles including engineering, controls, operations, EH&S, and plant leadership 
  • Partner closely with hiring managers to define role requirements, hiring priorities, and ideal candidate profiles 
  • Proactively source candidates through outbound outreach, referrals, and creative sourcing strategies 
  • Screen candidates for technical aptitude, hands-on experience, and cultural alignment with Phoenix Tailings 
  • Manage candidate experience from first contact through offer, ensuring clear communication and timely feedback 
  • Build and maintain strong talent pipelines for hard-to-fill technical and manufacturing roles 
  • Support hiring during periods of rapid growth, new facility ramp-ups, and organizational scaling 
  • Track recruiting metrics and continuously improve hiring processes 
  • Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of recruiting experience, with a strong preference for startup or high-growth environments 
  • Experience recruiting for technical, engineering, manufacturing, or industrial roles 
  • Proven ability to source and close candidates in competitive technical talent markets 
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills with candidates and hiring managers 
  • Ability to operate independently and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment 
  • Passion for building teams that work on real-world, high-impact technology 
  • Exceptional project management skills, with experience managing complex, multidisciplinary initiatives. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to diverse audiences.
