Altoros is looking for a Senior Product Engineer.
Responsibilities
Contribute to backend services and APIs using AWS Serverless technologies (Node.js, TypeScript, Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB).
Lead frontend feature development using React and TypeScript, building responsive and intuitive user interfaces.
Integrate frontend experiences with backend services to deliver seamless, performant products.
Act as a highly hands-on engineer, spending the majority of time actively writing and shipping production-quality code across the stack.
Work closely with product managers and designers to translate user problems into elegant technical solutions.
Design, build and maintain automation workflows using n8n or similar low-code automation platforms.
Evaluate, prototype and integrate AI tools and models into product features.
Champion a pragmatic best practice in code quality, testing, security, performance, and CI/CD. Ensuring we maintain standards but acknowledging that the team's work doesn’t need to be production ready.
Take the lead for engineering to contribute and shape ideas for the team, working alongside UX and Product.
Requirements
Strong experience with React and TypeScript, with 7+ years of hands-on commercial experience.
Backend engineering experience with Node.js and serverless/cloud architectures.
Hands-on experience with automation tools such as n8n.
Experience integrating AI tools, APIs or machine learning models.
Product-focused mindset with strong collaboration skills.
Experience of working in a start-up or scale-up environment.
Upper-intermediate English or higher. Candidates must be able to work UK timezone.
