Job Role: 3D Product Rendering Specialist

Compensation range: $2,000 AUD - $3,000 AUD / Monthly

Engagement type: Independent Contractor Agreement

Work Schedule: This role is expected to align with the AU business hours (approx. 9 AM - 5 PM, Monday to Friday) for collaboration, but as a contractor, you’ll have flexibility in how you manage your time.

Who The Client Is: A company that operates in the lighting and electrical products industry, supplying advanced LED lighting systems and tailored illumination solutions for commercial, industrial, infrastructure, and specialised applications. They focus on design, engineering, and delivery of high‑performance luminaires and lighting services that meet complex project and specification requirements across diverse sectors.

Role Overview: The 3D Product Rendering Specialist will create high-quality, photorealistic product visuals used across digital campaigns, websites, and marketing assets. This role focuses on translating product concepts and specifications into compelling 3D renders that enhance brand storytelling and support client marketing objectives. The ideal candidate has a strong eye for detail, understands lighting, materials, and composition, and can work efficiently across multiple projects while maintaining visual consistency.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Produce high-quality 3D product renders for use in digital and marketing channels.
• Interpret briefs, product specifications, and reference materials accurately.
• Model, texture, light, and render products to achieve photorealistic results.
• Create variations of renders including angles, environments, and colorways.
• Collaborate with creative and marketing teams to align visuals with campaign goals.
• Apply feedback and revisions efficiently while maintaining quality standards.
• Organize and manage 3D assets, files, and render outputs.
• Stay up to date with tools, techniques, and industry trends in 3D rendering.

Requirements

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• 2+ years of proven experience in 3D product rendering or visualization.
• Strong proficiency in any 3D software and experience with rendering engines.
• Solid understanding of materials, lighting, shading, and rendering workflows.
• Strong attention to detail and visual consistency.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Good communication skills and openness to feedback.
• Experience producing renders for marketing or e-commerce use is highly regarded.
