3D Artist - Intern

Tamatem Games is looking for a 3D Game Artist Intern to join our creative & Art team and contribute to the development of one of our popular mobile games. This internship offers hands-on experience in 3D modeling, animation, and Unity integration, working alongside experienced artists and designers.

Key Responsibilities

• 3D Modeling: Create optimized characters, vehicles, and environments for mobile games.
• Rigging & Animation: Apply simple rigs and create basic character and object animations.
• Unity Integration: Import assets into Unity, ensuring correct setup and functionality.
• Optimization: Keep assets lightweight and efficient using low-poly techniques and texture compression.

Requirements

• Basic proficiency in Blender, Maya, or 3ds Max.
• Basic knowledge of rigging and animation for game-ready assets.
• Familiarity with Unity and game asset integration.
• Understanding of low-poly modeling, UV mapping, and texture optimization.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working on personal or academic game projects.
• Knowledge of Substance Painter or Photoshop for texturing.
• Interest in shader creation, VFX, or vehicle animation.

Portfolio Requirement

Submit any personal, academic, or freelance work showcasing:

• 3D models (characters, environments, or vehicles).
• Basic animations demonstrating movement.
• Any rigging or Unity integration examples (if available).
