3D Art Manager

Your Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the 3D team to ensure projects are delivered on time and at the highest quality.

• Oversee the full cycle of creating 3D assets for game environments (maps, hangars, tiles, decals, etc.), including:

  • Drafting, low-poly and high-poly modeling for baking,

  • UV-mapping and texturing,

  • Creating LODs and optimizing assets for performance.

• Customize materials and decals, including high-poly photogrammetry objects.

• Ensure quality assurance across the entire production pipeline.

• Motivate, mentor, and retain team members through constructive feedback and support.

• Collaborate with HR on hiring, onboarding, and training new staff.

• Manage resource allocation, project budgeting, and team performance.

• Continuously review and improve tools, workflows, and pipelines for better efficiency.

We Expect You to Have:

• 3+ years as a 3D Environment Artist in the game industry.

• Strong modeling and texturing skills, including experience with optimization, UV-mapping, and LOD creation.

• Ability to guide and communicate with both junior and senior team members.

• Excellent problem-solving and team collaboration skills.

• Experience presenting to internal stakeholders and external partners.

• Proficiency in both English and Russian.

• Initiative, adaptability, and a resourceful mindset.

What Will Help You Stand Out:

• Skills in Level Art and lighting fundamentals.

• A general understanding of VFX and/or experience in 3D/VFX pipelines.

• Familiarity with photogrammetry workflows.

• Experience with tools such as Substance Designer and Marvelous Designer.

• Background in art education.
