Position Responsibilities:

  • Initiate Non Conformance and Corrective Action for non-conforming products. In-process inspections will be performed per ASME Code vessels requirements. 
  • Good working knowledge of interpreting blueprints and layout tanks/vessels. 
  • Communicate changes needed to Supervisors and Managers when products do not meet quality standards. 
  • Follow all safety requirements. 
  • Maintain equipment in good working condition and report maintenance and safety concerns. 
  • Assist in training of junior employees, inspecting their work. 
  • Maintain a working knowledge of changes in technology, compliance and repair techniques. 
  • Actively participate in the development of a LEAN manufacturing culture. 
  • May perform various duties that may include operating various pieces of welding and non-welding equipment to meet customer demand. 

Physical & Environmental Requirements:

  • Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment, heat and cold.
  • Ability to use hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls.
  • Ability to stand prolonged periods standing and performing repetitive tasks.
  • Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to hear sounds and differentiate between them.
  • Ability to visually understand distance, peripheral vision, depth perception, ability to adjust focus, and color vision.

Education/Experience:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED). 
  • Relevant experience within the last 5 years.
