Responsibilities:
1.To aid in the manufacture and shipment of quality iron castings by means of the installation, service, repair and inspection of all mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical portions of all facility equipment, including production and maintenance equipment, buildings and structures, plant vehicles services and utilities for Victaulic.
2.To know and to follow proper safety procedures including proper operation of equipment working with primary high voltage and secondary distribution voltages, proper grounding of equipment, compliance with practices as specified in the National Electrical Code or superseding regulations, rigging and lifting, welding, cutting, handling of hazardous materials, and working from ladders, scaffolds and overhead structures.
3.Must be available for emergency calls on all shifts, and must work the required overtime to maintain production efficiency. Must be able to communicate instructions in emergency situations. Must work and communicate with outside contractors as necessary.
4.To know and follow all reliability procedures process control requirements, testing procedures and job description cards as they relate work being performed.
5.To know and follow at all times proper safety procedures and to wear the prescribed safety equipment as they relate to the work being performed.
6.To report neatly and accurately work performed, findings or results of inspections, and time and materials used in completion of assigned work.
7.To maintain work area in neat and clean conditions and assure that materials and tools are returned to proper storage and all waste and debris is removed upon completion of assigned work.
8.To report immediately to his Foreman or Supervisor any injury, unsafe act or condition, or any failure or impending failure of plant equipment.
9.To perform his duties in such a manner as to assure the uninterrupted operation of the Manufacturing facility and the continuation of the Victaulic as a clean, safe place of employment.

Qualifications (education, experience, skills, personal attributes):
1.Technical School Graduate in Industrial Maintenance.
2. Two years experience in maintenance.
3. Must be willing to work extended hours, weekends, or other shifts if required.
4. Must maintain a good performance and attendance record.
