Job Summary:

This job description is not meant to exhaustively encompass all potential responsibilities, but rather to highlight priority tasks associated with this position. The Vendor Relations Intern will assist current team with creation, correction and maintenance of critical supplier records across various systems. The intern will assist the team with proactive engagement & establishment of robust supplier records & onboarding, in advance of end of fiscal year and will also work as liaison between departments, to create substantive alternate comparison sheets to support strategic substitutions on the TLS programs. 

Requirements

Applicants must:

  • Be enrolled in a full time Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program, or
  • Have a declared field of study and enrolled full-time in an Associate’s degree program, or equivalency to full-time enrollment when attending a trade school or certification program; or
  • Have recently graduated with a degree or certification from these programs within the last six months.
  • Applicants should be seeking a degree or certification in business or a related field.

  • Proficient organizational skills.
  • Strong strategic & interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects at once.
  • Ability to conduct research independently.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.  Must be able to engage in and exchange communication with others in all situations.
  • PC Proficiency in Microsoft Suite Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
