At Point72, our Strategy teams play critical roles in driving the firm’s success. These multidisciplinary and collaborative teams focus on:

• Identifying, designing, and leading the execution of value-creating, cross-functional initiatives that support the growth of our businesses
• Supporting new business initiatives and special situations
• Leading complex cross-functional initiatives that support the growth of our businesses

As an intern on one of these teams, you will have the opportunity to learn from experienced professionals and engage with leaders across Strategy, Finance, Legal, Compliance, Operations, and Technology to execute complex, interesting projects.

About the Strategy Internship

If you are interested in pursuing a career in corporate strategy or program management, this summer internship will provide you with valuable experience at a fast-paced global firm. You will gain exposure to:

• Performing quantitative and qualitative research on a variety of business-relevant topics (e.g., competitive analysis, industry trends, market conditions)
• How these teams support the implementation of the firm’s strategic priorities
• Projects with multiple senior stakeholders across the firm
• Evaluating new business opportunities
• Coordinating, developing, and executing deliverables across firm initiatives while working closely with our business units
• Creating detailed project plans and timelines

Summer Internship Program at Point72

In addition to the learning and development you’ll receive in your day-to-day role with your team, as a part of our summer internship program you will:

• Work alongside your fellow interns and be mentored by experienced professionals
• Meet your peers through designated intern programming, volunteer opportunities, and social events
• Attend sessions with senior leaders discussing their expertise and career paths
• Get hands-on access to the wealth of tools and resources that Point72 employees use every day
• Gain exposure to groups and functions with unique responsibilities and perspectives on our industry
• Develop technical, writing, and presentation skills
• Participate in networking opportunities across the firm, with groups such as Trading, Finance, Trade Support, Compliance, and Technology

What’s Required

• Expected bachelor’s degree (Fall 2026 or Spring 2027)
• Interest in the Asset Management industry
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong analytical, writing, verbal communication, and technical skills
• Demonstrated ability to work cooperatively with all levels of the team
• Willingness to conduct yourself with professionalism and integrity at all times
• Commitment to the highest ethical standards

The annual base salary for this role is $75,000 (USD), which does not include discretionary bonus compensation or our comprehensive benefits package. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things.
