2026 SUMMER INTERNSHIP PROGRAM – P&L Engineering #2

The LifeNet Health summer internship is a paid ($20/hour) program and includes project work that aligns with our mission Saving Lives, Restoring Health, and Giving Hope. The projects are designed to engage active learning, provide mentor relationships and leadership development over the course of a 10-week program. As a fun bonus, our interns are provided with 8 weeks of golf lessons and a set of clubs to use during the internship program with an end-of-program golf tournament!

The P&L Engineering #2 internship project will provide you with hands-on experience in a corporate environment where you will be exposed to the multiple functions of the P&L Engineering team to support the business and drive corporate initiatives.

Clinical Status: Clinical

PROJECT DETAILS/TRAINING:

  • You will develop technical understanding of freeze dryers and freeze-drying process.
  • You will develop understanding of legacy LNH studies regarding the use of pressure convergence methods.
  • You will revise production documents, including standard operating procedures (SOP), work instructions (WI), and/or production forms.
  • You will draft and execute process development studies to establish a well-defined process.
  • You will draft and execute verification (IQ) and validation studies on the established process.

 

REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE:

         You must be actively pursuing a bachelor’s degreeBA in Engineering Field (biomedical, mechanical, chemical) preferred.  First two years of engineering curriculum is preferred.

         You must be a rising junior, senior, or a recent graduate in 2026.

         You must be available to commit to the 10-week program (June 1 – August 7), full-time, 40 hours/week.
