Vast is seeking an Operations Intern to support the Operations team in streamlining day-to-day activities and improving efficiency in a fast-growing organization. Reporting to the Director, Operations, this role offers hands-on exposure to how daily operations function across a large and growing company.

This internship is well-suited for someone with a hands-on, collaborative attitude who enjoys problem-solving and contributing to continuous improvement.

This is a 12-week Summer internship at our headquarters in Long Beach, CA.

Responsibilities: 

  • Assist with monitoring daily operations and help gather data or observations on utilization of various programs with a goal of making them more efficient
  • Support inventory management by helping order supplies and tracking usage under the guidance of the Operations team
  • Help create, update, and maintain procedures, checklists, and other operational documentation
  • Communicate and coordinate with employees and vendors via email, messaging platforms, or in-person as needed
  • Perform general administrative tasks to support effective company operations including assisting with special projects focused on improving procedures, policies, and processes

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Qualified candidates must be enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master’s degree program from an accredited college or university in business, operations, engineering, or a related field
  • Basic proficiency with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Calendar, etc.)
  • Ability to work full-time onsite in Long Beach, CA

Pay Range: 

  • Undergraduate Intern: $35/hr
  • Graduate Intern: $40/hr
