Summary/Overview:

KBRA UK is seeking talented individuals to join our internship program in our London office. This internship will provide you with the opportunity to gain firsthand experience into the life of a credit rating agency analyst and to learn valuable skills coveted in any corporate setting.

• You excel in a fast-paced, intellectual, and friendly environment. You have a natural analytical aptitude towards problem solving and don’t mind rolling up your sleeves to get the work done. 
• To qualify, applicants must be legally authroised to work in the UK, and should not require sponsorship (current or future) for employment visa status.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide general analytical support for KBRA’s credit analysts.
• Prepare internal and external presentations and reports in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Develop spreadsheets and analytical materials to support the ratings process.
• Understanding structure finance methodologies and application .
• Contribute to data analysis and research support.
• Be exposed to senior level industry experts.
• Assist our support departments with ad hoc task

Key Job Qualifications:

• Post-graduate concentration in finance, economics, accounting, math or data analytics.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical ability
• Awareness of using data analytical tools like Excel and/or Python, R or SQL. You must be able to easily manipulate and format large data sets.
• Strong oral and reasonable standard of written communications skills.
• Ability to take initiative and work independently, as well as work closely with partners in a collaborative environment.
• Familiarity with Generative AI tools such as ChatGPT for research, data insights, and general productivity is a plus
• Be on track to achieve, or have already achieved, a minimum 2:1 degree (or equivalent)
