Summary:

KBRA is seeking an Intern for our Asset Backed Securities (ABS) team in the Dublin office. This internship will provide you with the opportunity to gain firsthand experience into the life of a Credit Rating Agency. You will be able to learn valuable skills coveted in any corporate settings.

Key Job Requirements:

• Provide general analytical support for KBRA’s credit analysts, including sectoral research.
• Develop spreadsheets and analytical materials to support the ratings process.
• Develop and maintain complex spreadsheets and databases.
• Manually pull and manipulate financial information.
• Contribute to data analysis and research support.
• Ability to leverage and seamlessly collaborate with KBRA experts in other sectors such as project finance, financial institutions, and fund finance.
• Assist in research for internal and publication purposes.
• To qualify, applicants must be legally authorized to work in the Republic of Ireland, and should not require sponsorship (current or future) for employment visa status.
• Be on track to achieve or have already achieved, a minimum 2:1 degree (or equivalent) from an accredited college or university

Key Skills/Experience:

• Post-graduate concentration in finance, economics, accounting, math or data analytics.
• Strong Excel skills. You must be able to easily manipulate and format data sets. 
• Strong oral and written communications skills.
• Ability to work as an integral part of a highly collaborative team and across disciplines in a challenging and dynamic environment.
• Extremely high attention to detail.
• Effective verbal, written and presentation skills are essential.
• Comfortable in a multinational environment.
• Fluency in more than one language is most helpful.
• Familiarity with Generative AI tools such as ChatGPT for research, data insights, and general productivity is a plus
