We are seeking a talented Graduate-Level Industrial Designer to join our fantastic team of researchers, designers, engineers, and prototypers at our studio in Co. What you’ll be doing 

  • Participate in research and extract insights to inspire design solutions. 

  • Develop outstanding product concepts for consumer, professional, and healthcare brands. 

  • Design holistic user experiences, championing user needs and motivations. 

  • Apply a sustainability mindset to all aspects of concept development. 

  • Continue honing your creative, technical, and communication skills. 

  • Move confidently between craft modelling and digital design tools to optimize creative workflow. 

  • Collaborate openly with colleagues and clients, leading with creativity and urgency. 

  • Build compelling design narratives that convey brand values and connect with target audiences. 

  • Present your work clearly and persuasively to stakeholders. 

  • Stay informed on emerging technologies (AI, Machine learning, Generative AI, XR, etc.) and integrate these advancements into your design solutions. 

  • Research industry trends and advancements to inspire innovative design approaches.

What we’re looking for 

  • Excellent portfolio showcasing industrial design experience, skills, thinking, and methodology. 

  • Bachelor’s degree (or underway) in industrial design. 

  • Fluent and confident in hand sketching and craft modelling. 

  • Strong aesthetic sensibility and exceptional attention to detail. 

  • Empathy for user needs, motivations, and behaviours. 

  • Thorough understanding of three-dimensional design and skilled with tools such as Rhino, SolidWorks, and Keyshot (or similar). 

  • Proficiency across multiple design tools (e.g. Miro, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Teams, etc.). 

  • Ability to tune into brand values and craft compelling stories. 

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to articulate and persuade. 

  • Solid understanding of engineering and manufacturing requirements. 

  • Keen interest in design trends, creativity, and emerging technologies, and their impact on design solutions.
