2024 Ticketing Customer Service & Guest Experience Internship

About this role: 

A paid internship running 5 days a week, from 9am – 4pm from either April 1 or May 1 through July 10th, 2024. This position is conducted in a hybrid workspace out of the Ticketing office in Far Hills, NJ. Hours and days will increase during USGA Championship event weeks.

The purpose of the positions is to learn and assist with all aspects of the U.S. Open Championships guest customer service and experience.

What you'll do:

  • Assist the ticketing office with day-to-day functions
  • Serve as the main contact for customer service for all customer inquires
  • Become an expert in product knowledge of ticket offers to provide solutions to guest questions and mobile ticket issues
  • Respond and act on emails and calls from current and potential ticket buyers
  • Communicate policies, prohibited items, and event information to ticket and credential holders
  • Learn the AXS Back Office ticketing platform to investigate purchases and assist with accounts issues
  • Learn the Accredit credential platform
  • Help with the ticket and credential fulfillment
  • Assist with credential production
  • Assist with special projects and mailings
  • Ticket sales and resolution during championships, if onsite
  • Able to work long hours, nights and/or weekends as necessary
  • Travel may be required to support onsite operations at the Championships in May & June

Where you'll be: 

This role will be based at our Liberty Corner, NJ campus on a hybrid schedule. Employees are expected to spend 3 days per week working in the office, between Monday - Thursday.
