Job Title: Manufacturing Operator
Location: PAC - Pennsylvania Cable
Summary/Objective: Responsible for the manufacturing of connector assemblies, cable assemblies and cable. This includes but is not limited to operating wrappers, braiders, extruders, presses, soldering equipment, measuring tools, and testing equipment.

- Hourly rate will be $20.00 per hour plus applicable bonuses. Pay is commensurate with experience.

Ability to Learn Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Understand and operate production machinery.
- Efficiently read and use tools such as calipers and micrometers.
- Understands how to read assembly drawings and manufacture the parts accordingly.
- Monitors quality of both raw materials and finished goods.
- Maintains all production paperwork, including quality assurance and efficiency information.
- Sets up and makes minor adjustments to equipment.
- Perform processes associated with assembly of connectors, attaching connectors to the cable and cable manufacturing.
- Test cable and assemblies using network analyzers and TDR’s.

Required Experience:
- Physical Requirements: capable of standing and/or sitting for more than 180 minutes straight, and not suffering from any sensory deprivation and/or paralysis of the limbs.
- Lifting Requirements: Light work – Exerts up to 50 pounds of force frequently.
- Atmospheric Conditions: Must be willing to adhere to all department safety rules and regulations.
Preferred Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
Training Required:
- On the job training as appropriate.
