Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Navy training, preferably at the Officer or Chief Petty Officer level, with direct involvement in managing or delivering training at a department or division level aboard surface ships or at shore commands.
  • Demonstrated experience developing, coordinating, and executing training programs, including curriculum management and adherence to Navy training standards.
  • Experience working with Navy training commands or organizations such as Afloat Training Group (ATG) or the Center for Surface Training and Certification (CSTC).
  • Proven ability to manage training equipment and materials, including configuration management and accountability of technical assets.
  • Proficiency in utilizing Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and other data management or training software.
  • Experience with virtual reality (VR) or other immersive training technologies is preferred.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills to liaise with multiple commands and schedule training sessions effectively.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen.
  • Knowledge of:
    • The Surface Force Training and Readiness Manual (SFTRM) and its application to shipboard and shore-based training operations.
    • Navy training doctrine, curriculum development, and readiness assessment methodologies.
    • Virtual Reality training equipment operation and maintenance.
    • Navy travel regulations and guidelines (e.g., Joint Travel Regulations - JTR) related to coordinating training travel logistics.

Personnel Clearance Level:

  • Candidate must possess or have the ability to obtain an active Secret security clearance.
  • Clearance may be sponsored for the right candidate.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in an unspecified field of study.

Salary Range: $80,000 - $100,000 annually.
