Sigma Defense is seeking a SME – Operations Integrator to provide the required support to the Capability Development and Innovation (CD&I) division within the Secretariat for Special Operations under the Office of the Assistant Secretary of War for Special Operations and Low-Intensity Conflict (OASW(SO/LIC)).

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in an unspecified field of study.

Personnel Clearance Level:

  • Candidate must possess or have the ability to obtain an active TS/SCI security clearance or higher.
  • Clearance may be sponsored for the right candidate.

Essential Job Duties (not all-inclusive):

  • Provide support across several areas, including advanced analytics, counter-AI, battlefield analytics at the edge, and quantum computing.
  • Provide expertise in developing and integrating big data management tools with artificial intelligence, machine learning algorithms, and cloud-based architectures to enhance enterprise analytics.
  • Create software and enabling technologies that compromise or mimic the capabilities of deep neural networks, including convolutional and recurrent networks, and extract weighted probabilities to reconstruct training datasets.
  • Design algorithms, software, and autonomous systems that improve situational awareness and deliver an informational advantage during tactical operations; and developing hardware, software, and quantum algorithms that leverage quantum superposition (e.g., qubits) to solve problems beyond the scope of classical computing.
  • Support assessment and prototype experimentation such as conducting studies that produce changes in items and systems.
  • Determine operational or technical adequacy of item or system requirements or specifications and assess the technical suitability of an item or system where specifications do not exist or are indefinite or inadequate.
  • Analyze system requirements and concept of operations documents, acquisition plans, and system descriptions to develop evaluation and test plans and procedures, prepare for and conduct the data collection and analysis, and report status and results.

Salary Range: $150,000 - $250,000 annually.
