
Sigma Defense is seeking a SME - Operational Information Environment (OIE) to provide the required support to the Capability Development and Innovation (CD&I) division within the Secretariat for Special Operations under the Office of the Assistant Secretary of War for Special Operations and Low-Intensity Conflict (OASW(SO/LIC)).

Requirements
- 10+ years of experience.
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in an unspecified field of study.
Personnel Clearance Level:
- Candidate must possess or have the ability to obtain an active TS/SCI security clearance or higher.
- Clearance may be sponsored for the right candidate.
Essential Job Duties (not all-inclusive):
- Provide support for protection and response that leverages innovate protective measures and develop information/technologies to ensure continuity of operations and mission success in threat-prone environments.
- Support the development of mitigation approaches to provide enhanced survivability and asset protection for groups of personnel, facilities, installations, and venues to include expeditionary environments.
- Develop technical solutions related to deterring, preventing, disrupting, and mitigating blast effects.
- Support the development of technologies and techniques to protect personnel and enhance survivability in facilities, infrastructure, and austere environments by improving situational awareness; detecting, locating, identifying, disrupting, anomalies and threats; and, controlling access to critical assets.
- Support developing tools, technologies, and techniques for improving the design and validation of interactive and immersive learning technology.
- Support the development of analyzing the full range of performance gaps and select interventions to improve and sustain human performance.
- Support developing methods, technologies, and programs based on cognitive and physiological principles that will optimize operator training, enhance mental and physical skills, and improve mission performance.
Salary Range: $150,000 - $250,000 annually.
