Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience with a Linux operating system.
  • CANES Admin Fleet (Navy) experience.
  • Systems admin experience in a Navy setting. 
  • Jenkins experience preferred, but GitLab pipelines are acceptable.
  • Assist the team with upgrades and patches of virtual environments.
  • Demonstrated experience managing software version control and software source code base.
  • Demonstrated experience developing software using an Agile framework.
  • Experience building containerized systems using Docker and/or Podman.
  • ACS experience is preferred.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.

Mandatory Certifications:

  • DoD 8570 IAT Level II - Security+ (or equivalent).

Computer Programs/Software Requirements:

  • Linux
  • Red Hat
  • Fedora

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science or related field of study.

Personnel Clearance Level:

  • Candidate must possess or have the ability to obtain an active TS/SCI security clearance or higher.
  • Clearance will be sponsored for the right candidate.

Candidate Differentiators:

  • VCP, Sec+, Net+, and or CISSP certifications.
  • Close proximity to the San Diego, CA facility.

Essential Job Duties (not all-inclusive):

  • Design, develop, and improve the automation pipeline and integrated deployment processes to build new containers, systems, and environments.
  • Perform technical support to the team and assist in developing security protocols.
  • Utilize DevOps tools to ensure the code compiles and passes any tests.
  • Develop and execute regression test scrips to verify system functionality.

Salary Range: $115,000 - $130,000 annually.
