1448 - Software Engineer III

Sigma Defense is seeking a Software Engineer III to augment the core team that develops and implements a variety of computer-based products for our military customers. This position is in support of programs related to Electronic Warfare Systems. The selected candidate will work in a structured, multi-disciplinary team environment in Fairmont, WV.

Requirements

• 4 - 6 years of experience in software engineering.
• At least 2 years of software development in a C++/Linux environment.
• Experience with Git based environments.
• Experience with 3D modeling/animation.
• Background in math or physics.

Education Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or other related analytical, scientific, or technical discipline.

Personnel Clearance Level:

• Candidate must possess or have the ability to obtain a Secret security clearance.

Essential Job Duties/Responsibilities (Not all-inclusive):

• Development of requirements.
• Development of design specifications.
• Implementation of developed systems specifications.
• Test plan and procedure development.
• System testing.
• Installation support.
  

Salary Range: $85,000 - $130,000 annually.
