Job Summary: Process Improvement Manager (CONFIDENTIAL SEARCH)
 
SP Associates is seeking a Process Improvement Manager for a confidential search, based in North Carolina. This position is ideal for someone with a Textile Engineering, Process Improvement, and/or R&D background and expertise in setting up equipment for polyurethane production. The role involves developing, implementing, and optimizing new technology in a production setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the subject matter expert for new technology implementation.
  • Validate process capabilities and resolve production quality or efficiency issues.
  • Collaborate with teams across development, production, quality control, and safety.
  • Troubleshoot and support the production line during installation and validation.


Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering, Polymer Science, Chemistry, or a related field.
  • 5-10 years of experience in the polymer processing industry (preferred).
  • Knowledge of Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, and statistical analysis is a plus.
  • Strong technical writing and communication skills.


Additional Requirements:

  • Occasional domestic and potential international travel.
  • Must be a US Citizen or Green Card holder.
