Position: Nonwoven Extrusion Quality Manager

The Nonwoven Extrusion Quality Manager will oversee the quality assurance processes for nonwoven extrusion manufacturing. This role will ensure that products meet the required quality standards and that operations run efficiently. The manager will be responsible for defining quality metrics, leading a team of quality assurance personnel, and collaborating with production and engineering to optimize manufacturing processes while ensuring compliance with industry standards.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain the quality management systems for nonwoven manufacturing.
  • Conduct regular audits of the manufacturing processes and quality control protocols to ensure compliance.
  • Analyze quality data and metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Lead root cause analysis activities for non-compliance issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Manage the quality assurance team, providing training and development for staff.
  • Collaborate with production and engineering teams to involve quality assurance at all stages of manufacturing.
  • Interface with suppliers and customers to resolve quality issues.
  • Ensure all quality-related documentation is properly completed and maintained.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives in the facility.


Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Engineering, Materials Science, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in quality management within the manufacturing industry, preferably in nonwoven or textile sectors.
  • Strong knowledge of quality assurance methodologies, statistical process control, and root cause analysis.
  • Previous supervisory experience in a quality or technical role is preferred.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and teamwork skills.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions quickly.
  • Proficient in quality management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Lean Six Sigma certification is a plus.
