Requirements

  • Experience working with Microsoft Windows Administrator, Server Administrator, and Asset Management.
  • Must possess a Security+ Certification.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen.

Personnel Clearance Level:

  • Candidate must possess or have the ability to obtain an active Secret security clearance or higher.

Education Requirements (Must possess one of the following):

  • High School diploma or GED at minimum with 8+ years of specialized experience in Information Technology.
  • Associate degree from an accredited college or university in Information Technology with 6+ years of specialized experience.
  • Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university in Information Technology with 4+ years of specialized experience.

Essential Job Duties:

  • Install and configure software and hardware to include desktops, laptops, and operating systems.
  • Manage networks, user accounts, and troubleshooting.
  • Asset management: Tech refresh / life cycle of equipment / inventory / RDT (DRMO).
  • Control and manage network IP address space, Domain Name System, Network Directory, and messaging services.
  • Design effective communication plans to publicize unit program requirements, associated policies, and procedures.
  • Support 7 Reconnaissance Squadron and tenant units with IT solutions for support when necessary.
  • Troubleshoot hardware/software issues related to AFNet operations (ex. SIPR, NIPR, VOSIP, VOIP, mIRC Chat, HAIPE devices).
  • Follow all Air Force policies/guidance and contact 31 CS/Wing Cyberspace Office for addition guidance.
  • Serve as a unit liaison to the military and civilian personnel offices.
  • Provide accurate and factual information to the commander(s)/director(s), key staff, and customers.
  • Establish controls and suspense dates and follow up to ensure that required actions and responses are made within deadlines.

Salary Range: $50,000 - $70,000 annually.
