0137 - Import Analyst

ALTEN MÉXICO is dedicated to providing innovative engineering and IT solutions across various industries. We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Import Analyst to join our team and drive the efficiency of our import operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the import processes to ensure compliance with customs regulations and timely delivery of goods.
• Coordinate with suppliers, shipping companies, and customs brokers to facilitate smooth import operations.
• Track and report on the status of shipments and any customs issues that arise.
• Prepare and maintain necessary documentation for customs clearance.
• Analyze data to identify areas for improvement in import logistics and propose solutions.
• Stay updated with changes in import/export regulations and procedures.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in International Business, Foreign Trade, Logistics, or a related field.

1-3 years of experience in import operations, preferably within the automotive or manufacturing sectors.

Strong knowledge of customs regulations and import processes.

Experience with logistics and supply chain management software.

Proficient in English (minimum B2 level) with excellent communication skills.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
