0105 - SAP FICO Consultant Specialist in Funds Management

In ALTEN México, we are looking for a Senior SAP FICO Consultant with proven experience in Funds Management to support a finance transformation project. The goal of this project is to redesign the budgeting process for Work Orders (OTs) and estimations within the SAP system.

Responsibilities:

Participate in the redesign and configuration of the SAP Funds Management module.

Improve budget validation in work orders and estimations to ensure proper fund release.

Create functional and technical documentation for the implemented changes.

Deliver detailed functional specifications.

Coordinate knowledge transfer sessions with the internal IT team.

Attend meetings with key users, BPOs, and the IT team in Mexico.

Meet deadlines and deliverables according to defined SLAs.

Requirements

Proven experience as a SAP FICO Consultant, with focus on Funds Management.

Previous participation in full-cycle SAP FICO implementations.

Strong knowledge of FMDERIVE rules, substitution/validation rules.

Intermediate understanding of ABAP (no programming needed, but ability to read/debug).

Functional knowledge of SAP MM module (estimations, release strategies, work orders).

Ability to produce clear functional/technical documentation.

Basic to intermediate English.
