We are currently recruiting for a Yard Team Leader to work within our Logistics team based at our Ramsbottom site.

So, what's the mission?
The Yard Team Leader will control all activities concerning the warehousing and distribution of finished goods and associated materials to meet company service level agreements.

This is a key role as part of the site management team providing management of the vitally important link between manufacturing, customer sales and service functions. The Yard Team Leader will support the achievement of all agreed site objectives. High degree of customer satisfaction through the promotion of a right first-time philosophy.

The role will report directly to our Site Operations Manager.

What are the mission-critical skills?

• Previous Yard/Logistics/Warehousing experience
• A hands-on approach with good people management skills
• Good knowledge of Health at Safety at Work regulations
• Supervisory experience within a stock control role.
• Excellent PC skills including an understanding of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
• Excellent communication skills
• An IOSH/NBOS certificate is advantageous but not essential
