Bynder is seeking a dynamic Workplace Experience Manager to work in-person from our Amsterdam and Rotterdam offices. In this role, you will oversee Workplace operations across our EMEA offices. Reporting directly to the Global Director of Workplace, you will lead a team of Office Managers and play a key role in implementing the global Workplace Experience strategy, fostering a welcoming environment that emphasizes collaboration, engagement, and a hospitality-driven approach.

While this is primarily a leadership role, you will also take on hands-on Office Management responsibilities to support operations in Amsterdam and Rotterdam. This mix of strategic leadership and operational tasks requires someone who is equally comfortable managing teams and stepping in to provide direct support where needed. Over time, operational responsibilities are expected to shift as the team structure evolves, allowing for a greater focus on leadership.

In this role, you will partner closely with the Facilities Manager, IT, HR, Creative, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless operations while delivering exceptional workplace services that align with Bynder’s culture and organizational goals.

 

Key Responsibilities

Workplace Strategy

  • Serve as a key member of the Workplace leadership team, contributing to the strategic vision and execution of workplace initiatives across EMEA, with a focus on fostering welcoming and hospitality-driven environments..
  • Use employee feedback and data to develop initiatives that improve employee satisfaction.
  • Analyze regional needs and trends to identify opportunities for innovation in workplace services and programs.
  • Act as a key liaison between global workplace leadership and EMEA offices, ensuring the global vision is understood and effectively implemented.

Team Leadership

  • Set clear expectations and measurable goals for Office Managers, regularly evaluating their performance and providing actionable feedback.
  • Manage and mentor a team of Office Managers, fostering growth, collaboration, and alignment with Bynder’s values and goals.
  • Promote a culture of continuous learning and development within the Workplace team, creating pathways for growth and professional advancement.
  • Inspire the Workplace team to embody Bynder’s values, emphasizing collaboration, hospitality, and employee-centric solutions in all initiatives.

Employee Experience

  • Enhance workplace environments with thoughtful touches, such as personalized employee perks, curated spaces, and community-building initiatives.
  • Plan and execute events that foster employee engagement, strengthen company culture, and reflect Bynder’s company values.
  • Foster a service-oriented culture among Office Managers, ensuring every employee interaction is driven by care and hospitality.
  • Continuously assess and enhance workplace amenities, ensuring they align with employee needs and company values.

Workplace Operations 

  • Establish clear processes and workflows to bring consistency and structure to workplace operations across EMEA offices.
  • Manage budgets and vendor relationships effectively, identifying opportunities to improve cost-efficiency and service quality.
  • Collaborate with IT, HR, and other teams to ensure workplace resources, technology, and systems are aligned with employee needs and company goals.
  • Create and maintain a centralized repository of operational policies, processes, and best practices for easy access and consistency across teams.

About You

  • 7+ years of experience in workplace experience, facilities management, or office management, including 2+ years in a people management role.
  • Proven success in leading workplace programs in fast-paced, global environments, with experience managing budgets, events, vendor relationships, and operational logistics.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and stakeholders effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on building strong relationships and collaborating across departments.
  • Data-driven and detail-oriented, using metrics and feedback to drive continuous improvement and optimize workplace services.
  • Skilled in implementing workplace strategies that enhance employee satisfaction, engagement, and productivity while aligning with company goals.
  • Experience with workplace technologies, tools, and systems to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
  • A hospitality-driven mindset with a passion for creating welcoming and engaging workplace environments.
  • Adaptable and resourceful, able to thrive in dynamic environments and provide innovative solutions to challenges.
