Impact In This Role
Reporting to the Sr. Director of People, you’ll be at the heart of our mission to elevate Fictiv’s Culture. You will be an ambassador of Fictiv’s values & behaviors and drive a workplace experience that turns employees into passionate brand ambassadors and establishes our culture as a true market differentiator. You'll be responsible for leading workplace experience in the Oakland Hub and setting up the related facilities and workplace experience programming.
This role is office-based, where your presence will be pivotal in creating and sustaining the energy and culture that defines our team.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Embody and promote our core values & behaviors both inside and outside the organization, representing the brand with enthusiasm and pride
- Act as the face of Fictiv for internal engagements and communicate what is happening in the Oakland office/US region
- Serve as the ambassador and primary day to day contact for our Oakland Hub by providing the in-office services and solutions that support occupancy and that promote employee engagement and foster a sense of community within the workplace
- Establish world-class workplace experience programming and streamlining operations in the US region. Expand on existing and developing new cultural programs and policies that can provide the biggest impact on our employees and guests through hospitality, events, and employee engagement
- Take ownership of initiatives that drive cultural alignment across departments, transforming employees into brand ambassadors through strategic, high-impact programs
- Partner with company stakeholders hosting onsite events, such as leadership meetings, to ensure their time in our space is truly remarkable
- Support the end-to-end management of the workplace lifecycle, reception, vendor management, employee events, catering, OSHA and safety
- Partner with key stakeholders to develop creative campaigns that showcase our culture and position it as a competitive advantage in the marketplace
- Coordinate event setups and provide hands-on support during events
- Monitor and analyze workplace trends and best practices to continuously improve our workplace operations and consistently elevate the employee experience
- Manage and review mail and packages to ensure timely reviewal and retrieval for personnel
- Other duties as assigned by the management team
Desired Traits
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Facilities Management, Hospitality, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in workplace coordination, office management, administrative support or event planning, or a similar role
- Hospitality and customer service mindset - with a desire to host, build relationships, create beautiful environments and experiences for our guests
- You are collaborative - this role involves working with numerous teams to provide support in different areas all across the offices and, as such, requires high levels of communication and the ability to work cohesively as a team
- Ability to pivot quickly and be flexible to change
- Highly equipped with verbal and written communication
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow through with incoming tasks and jobs
- Problem solver, willing to look at processes from outside the box and constantly looking for ways to innovate and streamline processes as we scale
- You have the ability to manage senior stakeholders and their needs
- Prioritization comes naturally to you. You can see what needs to be done and weigh what is ultimately most important at that moment

Salary Range: $75,000 to $85,000 per year, depending upon experience
