Workplace & Engagement Coordinator

As our very first Workplace & Engagement Coordinator in Sao Paolo, you’ll play a pivotal role in laying the foundation for our new office and ensuring its success. Your efforts will directly impact our ability to create a thriving, dynamic environment where our team can excel. From building a welcoming workplace culture to streamlining operations, you’ll be the driving force behind making our Brazil office a beacon of collaboration and innovation.

This role is crucial in shaping a high-performing, inclusive, and engaging workplace and employee experience for our team in Brazil and across the Americas. Together, we’ll redefine what it means to work at Veriff and make a lasting impact!

What you will be doing:

Office management

  • Manage the daily operations of our offices in Brazil, ensuring a safe, efficient, and welcoming workplace
  • Coordinate with suppliers, handle maintenance, security and cleaning teams, and manage daily logistics such as orders and couriers.
  • Oversee health and safety compliance and Physical Security requirements, including accesses
  • Contribute to the future implementation of a private office in the near future from start to finish

Culture building

  • Act as an ambassador for the company’s values, ensuring they are reflected in the workplace environment, employee interactions, and local initiatives.
  • Design and implement programs to help employees in Brazil feel connected to the broader company culture, including DEIB activities
  • Serve as a resource for employees, offering guidance and solutions to challenges that arise in a growing hub environment.

Events Planning

  • Plan and contribute to experiences and events that foster culture building and team bonding in the Brazil office and for remote employees in your region
  • Contribute to the strategic planning and execution of company-wide events and initiatives
  • Project collaboration
  • Support the team on global projects such as recognition platforms, internal communication, travel management or onboarding, contributing to a seamless and inclusive employee experience.

Cross-team collaboration

  • Work closely with IT, Finance, Communications, and other support teams to accomplish company goals.

Remote employee experience:

  • Be an advocate for the employee experience in Latam
  • Potential opportunity to oversee US remote employee experience and hubs

You are the right future Veriffian for the job if you have/are:

  • Positive attitude, proactive and collaborative mindset, capable of working across teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in office management, employee engagement, or a similar role.
  • Experience in fast-growth environments, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and change.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships across diverse teams and locations.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Passion for fostering an inclusive workplace culture and employee experience.
  • A self-starter who is motivated to take ownership of the role and drive meaningful initiatives.
