Working Student - Graphic Designer

We are looking for a working student Graphic Designer to join our Creative Team in Hamburg. 20hrs a week (alongside your studies), you will support the local design and strategy team to conceptualize, design and produce cutting edge designs for video, mobile and interactive display ad units using the Teads Studio to deliver our clients exceptional and innovative advertising solutions.

To be successful, you will have strong communication and multitasking skills and be able to work within a fast-paced, high pressure, team-oriented environment. You will be hungry to work with the latest technologies and use your initiative to come up with unique designs and new ideas whilst ensuring best practice, usability, and accessibility.

 Key Responsibilities 

• Create compelling, immersive interactive video & display ads for our clients, based on briefs outlined by the client
• Design materials true to brand identity and style guidelines
• Support local design & strategy team with building client presentations
• Create custom solutions for client requirements.
• Work closely with members of all departments, primarily Sales and Ad Operations, to gather project specs and deployment procedures
• Innovate and deliver new solutions for our ad type portfolio

Experience/ Background

• 1+ years of experience in Graphic Design, preferably for Digital Media
• Must be currently a student undergoing a degree - either 1st, 2nd, 3rd year or in Masters
• Must be currently located in Hamburg
• Working knowledge of Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator in particular) 
• Skills in video editing software - Premier / After Effects in addition to experience with Photoshop and Illustrator
• Clear and effective written and spoken communication skills
• Fluent in German and English
• Ability to work to tight deadlines, time management and communicate transparently with internal and external teams
• Excellent problem solving and communication skills

Non essential but desirable 

• Basic knowledge of web development - HTML/CSS/Javascript
• 3D design skills
