This role will be based in our HQ in Amsterdam, where you will become part of the Finance team. You will report directly to the Accounts Payable Lead and work as under the Accounts Payable team as a working student (Dutch). You will be responsible for a variety of accounting and bookkeeping tasks for several entities. With your experience and knowledge of processes and accounting systems, you are a great asset to our team.
Your responsibilities include:
Assist in processing purchase invoices, reviewing open purchase orders and communicating potential accounting and payment issues with relevant departments such as Construction Management, Operations, IT, etc or suppliers;
Assist in organizing AP’s email inbox;
Maintain vendor master data;
Support the senior accountants with the monthly closing, VAT statements and the preparation of the necessary documents for the annual audit.
