The role of Workday System Analyst will effectively help support our end-users and business partners for our Workday HRIS modules. Your focus will be on responding to tickets and improving and scaling processes from a technical and procedural perspective. As one of the team members, you will collaborate with the other members of the People team to ensure the smooth running of multiple Workday modules. Additionally, you’ll identify opportunities for functionality and build and own recurring projects (performance, open enrollment, merit process, etc).
What your day could consist of:
- Triage user tickets, diagnose, and resolve Workday functional issues originating from end-users, business process events, etc
- Gather and document requirements, design, configure, test, and deploy Workday process or functional changes
- Create custom reports and calculated fields
- Perform testing of all Workday releases
- Support business partners to find solutions to current problems
- Act as the escalation point for Workday process or configuration issues raised by business partners
- Continue to evolve the key processes and systems to ensure Best In Class tools, systems, operating knowledge in a scaling environment
What is needed:
- 2-3 years Workday experience
- Completed at least Workday Core HCM training
- Passionate about resolving issues for end-users and business partners with great customer service skills
- Demonstrated Workday configurations experience in one or more of core modules (HCM, Payroll, Benefits, Compensation, Absence, Performance, Talent & Recruiting)
- Knowledge of Custom Reports & Calc Fields, Business Process
- Knowledge of EIBs, Integrations and Security is a plus
- Very strong organizational skills and commitment to deliverables
- Small scale project management experience is a plus
- Proven ability to work in fast-paced, ever-changing environments
- Sound judgment and discretion when dealing with sensitive information
