We are hiring an HRIS Workday Recruit Analyst, experienced with Workday HCM.  You will be part of a growing and dynamic team with an opportunity to work on challenging and exciting projects as we continue to grow. In this role, you will partner with the People Team, IT, and internal partners to analyze current practices, lead the implementation of new functionality, and enhance processes by using new and existing technology.

As a member of the People Technology team, you will be part of an elite team supporting Palo Alto Networks’ People Team strategy, and providing global Human Capital Management systems to all People Team functions.

This role requires a critical thinker who creates solutions and can execute tactically while maintaining a view to long-term goals and company objectives.

Your Impact 

  • We are seeking an experienced and motivated individual who is ready to take on the challenge of driving the successful delivery of Workday Recruiting - This person will be an integral part of a team responsible for defining the future state process and leading the Workday solution design, configuration, and testing efforts
  • The ideal candidate will possess a combination of functional and technical expertise, as well as a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with both technical and non-technical partners
  • You will be the main support to the Talent Acquisition organization for their technology needs, collaborating with Talent Acquisition Operations and the Recruiting teams directly
  • You will establish deep cross functional relationships throughout the People Team and IT functions to ensure that initiatives are effectively designed and implemented

Your responsibilities will include: 

  • Lead the ongoing design and implementation of new functionality in Workday – from creative enhancements to the roll-out of end-to-end automation initiatives
  • Demonstrate your continuous improvement and innovative mindset to identify, recommend, and improve current systems and processes
  • Implement upgrades and enhancements, lead testing and data validation, and ensure that overall system performance is aligned with business objectives
  • Work closely with COE Leads, functional leads, managers and technical teams to gather requirements, recommend, design and implement solutions, and ensure user ease of adoption

Your Experience 

  • 8+ years of strong hands-on experience delivering HRIS solutions, including 2+ years experience with Workday Recruiting through all stages of the delivery lifecycle - Workday Pro certified in Core HCM, and/or Recruiting strongly preferred
  • Expert level proficiency in other modules, including Workday HCM, Onboarding, and Workday Advanced Reporting experience strongly preferred
  • Expertise in implementing and supporting Workday in a complex global environment
  • Skilled at working with cross-functional / regional teams to understand and address functional and data-related requirements
  • Ability to influence adoption of the optimal approach at all levels and drive the seamless delivery of projects through strong project management capabilities
  • Proven ability to build great relationships and convey and debate design rationale - Emphasis on thought partnership and collaboration
  • Solid knowledge of HR systems structure, functions and processes - Sound understanding of interdependencies between various systems and downstream impacts
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and thrive in a global, dynamic environment – adopting an iterative design process - we move fast, we listen, and we adapt, quickly incorporating feedback and collaborating relentlessly

Education

  • Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university  or equivalent training, education, and experience in information / cyber security, computer systems, IT, etc. or equivalent military experience required

The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non-sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/commissioned roles) is expected to be between $115,600/yr to $187,000/yr. The offered compensation may also include restricted stock units and a bonus. A description of our employee benefits may be found here.
