Workday HR Process & Project Manager - US Based Position

The role is open to Contract or Fulltime employee arrangements.

As the HR Process & Project Manager for Workday, you will play a pivotal role in driving the successful deployment of Workday at NIQ. Your primary objective is to ensure seamless coordination and execution of all HR aspects of the implementation, from stakeholder alignment to phased roll-out and post implementation support. By serving as the central point of contact between key stakeholders, including the HR product owner, data migration leader, change management team, HRLT and broader HR community, you will facilitate informed decision making, effective communication, and alignment of deliverables across all HR workstreams. Your focus on guiding the development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and process maps will enable end users to navigate Workday with confidence and maximize its value. With your strong project management skills and Workday knowledge, you will help lead our organization through a successful transition to Workday, driving adoption, optimizing HR processes, and ultimately contributing to the achievement of our business objectives. 

Key responsibilities:
• Serve as the primary liaison between the HR product owner, data migration leader, change management team, and other key stakeholders. Ensure decisions, deliverables and timelines are synchronized across all HR workstreams in alignment with program principles. 
• Provide updates and facilitate decision making with the HRLT and broader HR community. Communicate decisions impacting HR processes and change management efforts. Solicit feedback and input to inform decision making. Provide HR updates to SteerCo (Exec Committee). 
• Lead the development and documentation of SOPs and process maps. Facilitate working sessions to map out future state processes ensuring accuracy, completeness and usability for end users. Establish a process for maintaining and updating SOPs and process maps to reflect changes in system configurations or organizational requirements. (Will assign a junior resource to help with the actual drafting) 
• Coordinate and plan for phased launches in alignment with existing HR processes. Work closely with EIT, HR product owner, and COE leaders to prioritize and sequence the delivery of modules within Workday in alignment with business requirements and annual HR calendar. 
• Collaborate with the change management team and provide input for the training materials and resources for end users for each release. Ensure effective communication and roadshow are part of implementation plan to ensure 95% Workday adoption by end of 2024. Ensure special attention to manager persona to drive 75% manager self-serve. Surface key decisions to change management team to get reactions/buy-in from change leaders and change champions. 
• Monitor and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to assess the impact of each release on adoption, usage and overall program success working closely with HR Reporting and Analytics lead. 
• Facilitate post-implementation support (hyper-care) to all users following each release. Coordinate with broader team to troubleshoot issues and implement enhancements.  
• Project manage and collaborate with Alight PM and Enterprise IT PM to ensure HR deliverables & decisions are on track in alignment with overall project plan, timelines, budget. 
• Proactively identify potential risks and issues from an HR perspective that may impact the successful delivery. Develop risk mitigation plans in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.  
 

Qualification and skills:
• Proven experience managing Workday implementations
• Strong understanding of HR processes, data management, and organizational change management principles
• Excellent project management skills, including the ability to execute plans, manage timelines, and mitigate risks
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate & influence stakeholders at all levels
