WordPress Developer (On-site)

Interweave is seeking for a mid to Mid WordPress Developer, to develop and execute projects across platforms and channels (products, platforms, websites, mobile, campaigns). You will collaborate with strategists, marketers, information architects, UX designers and copywriters, and build with them great brand experiences online. We believe in the power of WordPress to transform businesses, and we're looking for a talented Mid WordPress Developer to join our team and help us continue delivering top-notch websites and applications.

The ideal candidate will bring a solid and experienced portfolio of work and a strong front end expertise. He/she will be passionate about pushing the envelope on cutting edge technologies and applications to bring our clients the best solutions possible. He/she will be strongly grounded in software development methodologies and also be flexible to adapt to an agency environment.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience as a WordPress Developer.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
• Strong knowledge of WordPress architecture and best practices.
• Experience with custom theme and plugin development.
• Familiarity with responsive web design principles.
• Ability to troubleshoot and solve complex technical issues.
• Knowledge of SEO best practices.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.

Bonus points

• Experience with version control systems like Git is a plus.
• Familiarity with other CMS platforms and frameworks is a bonus.
• Experience setting up development environments
• Working knowledge of AWS Cloud Computing Services
• Knowledge of security controls
• Working knowledge of Linux
• Page Speed Optimization
• Cloudflare / DNS configuration, hosting setup
