Wood Technology and AI specialist

Full-Time

In this assignment as a Subject Matter Expert wood technology and AI, you will contribute by supporting our cross functional project teams implementing Wood material projects! You will be supporting quality and engineering priorities across P&V Category as well as CA Wood. You will work in key strategic projects with stakeholders across IKEAs value chain.

Other tasks which will be included in your assignment are: 

  • Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of projects according to timelines and objectives
  • Conduct research and gather relevant data to support project requirements
  • Analyze current state and define future potentials in pigment kitchen front carriers  
  • Support testing and implementation at our Suppliers 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and progress on project deliverables.
  • Assist in evaluating project outcomes and identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Support IKEA with specialist competence in the field of wood technology and AI

At any time, act as an ambassador of IKEA values and Role Model for Fact-based Business leadership.

As Subject Matter expert wood technology and AI we would like that you: 

  • Experience from working with Wood material and AI
  •  Have an educational base at Bachelor level or equivalent, alternative first experience working as Production Engineer 
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, project management tools and AI methodology and implementation
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and quality of work.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Adaptability and willingness to learn new processes and technologies.
  • Are passionate about IKEA, our vision, business idea and values and you have a constant desire for renewal. 
  • Enjoy to work in a constantly changing work environment and with new people
