WIP Team Leader

Requirements

Main Purpose of Job:

·         To supervise the WIP Operations area to meet the needs of the business

·         Contribute to the Logistics Department in all aspects of Operational efficiencies, Staff Management, the Logistics WIP area of operations as required to meet the needs of the business

·         Contribute to the Logistics Department as a whole in all aspects of Operational efficiencies and staff management

·         Liaise with: Logistics Stock Control, Logistics Night Shift Team, Frozen Team and Production Teams

·         Supervising WIP area where applicable

·         Subordinates: Responsible for staff allocated to the WIP area

Responsibilities:

·         To ensure completion of required picking, staging and ensuring raw material is sent to production in the correct format

·         To monitor and control “Defrost” activities onsite

·         Ensure compliance with stock movements requirements specifically with regards to scanning and location

·         Health and Safety of employees under your direction

·         Ensure required training and development of staff is fulfilled

·         To liaise with the wider management team and department effectively and timely

·         To ensure compliance with stock movement requirements to maintain the operating system

·         To carry out regular stock checks

·         To ensure the smooth integration of product into Warehouse from both internal and external suppliers

·         Ensure company discipline procedures are adhered to at all times

·         Analyse and improve staff turnover

·         Manage staffing levels on shift

This is a full time permanent position working 4 on 4 off days. (6:00am - 6:00pm).
