This position is filled in the IoT Digital team of Deutsche Telekom IT Solutions Hungary. The team consists of IT professionals working on IoT, hyperautomation and data intelligence solution implementation projects.
Project
Your future project will be in the mobility industry. Together with our partners, we are developing intelligent tolling solutions for our customers. We use digital intelligence for a smart service that connects Europe. Using sophisticated technology and our toll box, we are creating a new age of seamless mobility. Our aims is to further develop the currently available services and extend it to further domains. Together with the T-Systems International team members, you will join an international team supporting our customers and providing tolling solutions.
Main tasks
As a System Administrator:
- You will be part of a team, that is managing the operation systems for approximately 200 VMs in various environments and domains within a Windows context.
- The team takes full operational responsibility (24x7 on call duty for priority 1 and 2 incidents with SLAs) for the services that they own.
- In addition to OS management, the following services and tasks are executed by the team:
- Windows Tasks:
- Active Directory (user management via a BIT tool) and Group Policy settings
- Terminal Services (public application and desktop)
- Software installations, patching via Windows Server Update Services and updating softwares (Trellix, Splunk agents, Firefox, etc.)
- WinAudit (review and address alerts)
- Creation and installation of new Windows VMs via Unattended Setup
- ESX Tasks:
- Managing 1 vCenter with over 100 ESX hosts across approximately 20 clusters with Distributed Switch and NFS Storage (current VMware version 8.x)
- Ensuring stable operations and supporting colleagues with OCP installations and bare-metal setups
- Handling hardware responsibilities, including regular (quarterly or as needed for security issues and high-priority notifications) VMware, ESXi, and hardware patching via LifeCycle Manager and Fujitsu Infrastructure Manager
- Creating new port groups, VMs, managing snapshots.
- Strong German knowledge
- Knowledge and experience Active Diretory and GPO (more than user Adminstration)
- Knowledge and experience ADFS (Federation Service)
- Knowledge and experience RDP (Remote Desktops)
- Server Administration experience
- Automation skills: scripting (Bash/Python/PowerShell),
- Familiarity with Ansible, Terraform
