Windows 11 - Project Manager

We are seeking a talented Project Manager to join our team. This project consist of the successful migration of all our client's users to a new Windows 11 based workstation and a new Active Directory domain hence a new login . The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, and the ability to lead and coordinate a complex IT project.

Role and responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive project plan.

  • Coordinate with stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.

  • Lead a project team, including IT technicians, system administrators, IT Applications Production Support Engineers and Applications Developers, to ensure successful migration within the established timeline and budget.

  • Monitor project progress and identify and address any issues or risks that may arise during the migration process.

  • Communicate project status, updates, and potential roadblocks to key stakeholders, including senior management and end users.

  • Ensure that all necessary technical and user training is provided to support the transition to the new Windows 11 workstations and their new login .

  • Collaborate with IT and security teams to ensure data integrity and security throughout the migration process.

  • Oversee the testing and validation of all migrated workstations and domain settings to ensure functionality and user satisfaction.

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.

  • Proven experience as a project manager, specifically in IT projects involving workstation and domain migration.

  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing stakeholders' expectations.

  • A detail-oriented manager with strong working knowledge of project management techniques, processes, and methodologies 

  • Skills on MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word required, 

  • Experience using Power BI, MS projects, Office 365 preferred.

  • PMP or other project management certification is a plus.
