Overview:
While this is a remote position, we are looking for someone located on the West Coast, preferably in the Greater Seattle Area. The focus of the BDR is to work closely with the Strategic Account Executive to execute targeted campaigns focused on generating new meetings within the region and significantly contributing to outbound initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Account Executives to drive outbound growth within the region, targeting primarily Director, VP and C level executives.
- Qualify leads from marketing campaigns to uncover sales opportunities.
- Reach out to potential clients through cold calls, emails, LinkedIn and other sales mediums.
- Analyze customer personas and target audience demographics to compile lists of potential leads to contact.
- Develop and implement email campaigns to attract new leads.
- Set up meetings or calls between (prospective) clients and Account Executives.
- Manage data in Salesforce.com and Outreach/Salesloft, ensuring all communications are logged and information is accurate.
Qualifications:
- A track record exceeding quota as an individual contributor.
- At least 2-3 years of experience in an outbound prospecting capacity.
- Well versed in sales generation and lead qualification with a hungry, persistent, positive style.
- Strong written and verbal skills.
- Highly self-motivated and hardworking with a strong sense of personal initiative.
- Comfortable juggling multiple assignments and working without a lot of direct supervision.
Preferred:
- Experience in Application Security or Cybersecurity, and/or Professional Services.
- Experience with Salesforce and additional sales tools including Sales Navigator, Outreach.io or Salesloft.
- ZoomInfo strongly preferred.
