Weddings Sales Representative

You will:

  • Build and maintain relationships with potential clients, including engaged couples, event planners, and wedding venues.
  • Actively seek out new business opportunities through networking, cold calling, and attending industry events.
  • Understand and effectively communicate the catering company's offerings, including menu options, pricing, and services, to potential clients.
  • Collaborate with the catering team to create customized wedding packages that meet the unique needs and preferences of each client.
  • Provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales process, from initial inquiry to post-event follow-up.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitors' offerings to ensure the catering company remains competitive in the wedding market.
  • Manage the sales pipeline and effectively track leads and opportunities using a CRM system.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to develop and implement strategies for targeting the wedding market segment.
  • Represent Grain at wedding expos, showcases, and other promotional events to generate leads and build brand awareness.

We’re looking for someone with:

  • Experience in outbound sales - more than 1 year’s experience in catering, wedding or hospitality sales preferred.
  • Proven customer support experience or good ability to learn.
  • Strong phone contact handling and active listening.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and practices.
  • Ability to start and get things done
  • A team player who works effectively in a team-based organisation, collaborates cross-functionally, and builds support and alignment around goals and objectives.
